Yeah, the (talked) part is just implied. It's written there on the CD cover, too. Stood on my roof and tried to see you forgetting about me Hide the details I don't want to know a thing I love that line, because when someone dumps you, it's easier to just pretend that maybe they are still thinking about you, rather than trying to forget you. |

| I don't think Chris died in the war. I don't know if anyone else has actually watched the DVD that came with their acoustic CD My Tongue Will Always Be The B-Side To My Heart, but in the perfomance section there is a live acoustic performance by FOB. This is the first song they play, and they literally play this song to Chris who is present at the performance and on the DVD footage...and very much alive. The guy who was taping the performance kept putting the camera on Chris while they were playing the song, and every time he did, Chris would flip him off and point to the band, like, "Film them, not me." That DVD is really good, btw. | |

To me, it has a different meaning because of a personal life experience. I see it as him being the one who left her. He knows that his being near her is really painful. He obviously still has feeling for her, but he obviously feels it's best for them to not be together. He seems to be trying to put distance between them so he won't be hurting her like he has been, and so she can finally start to get over him. Every song has a different meaning for each person, though. That's just mine. |

I have been waiting for these lyrics forever...or since I saw Near Miss at Warped Tour anyway. Is this song going to be on a CD or is it just one of those "other" songs? I think it's pretty obvious what this song is about. "So everything is fine. You got it your way you fucked his life. " Great line. |
