I guess the song has a somewhat different meaning for me. I feel that he is really depressed and down. "hard to notice ...when you're staring at the cracks" means he is dejected and down. "...cracks run right to me ....crawl right through me" is him sinking all the way down into the depths of his depression. I can relate to this song in the sense of feeling like that. Poision heart to me is how he's hardened or has a black view of the world. Just my opinion. I love this song.
You miss beauty and anything positive when you are totally down. You cannot see anything good if you're in that state. |

I agree with everybody else's opinions on this one. It sums it up well and every guy should listen!!! I was down and out arguing w/my bf the other night and was out shopping. It came on in the dept store and all I could think was I had to get home and make my love listen! Beautiful song with real meaning. |
