This is about a person who broke up with someone else. In my opinion, the singer is trying to forget about the other person and to move on by singing... 'You're only the best I ever had'. He 's trying to convince himself to let it go through this song. Know what I mean? ... It's like when someone asking you how was the relationship when it broke up and you answer.... it was only the best I ever had.... It seems really really sad, but by saying it and getting it of his chest he will probably forget it? So he's trying to tell himself...it's not so bad... while he is really bleeding inside... but maybe he's just letting it go? |

Something went wrong and this song gives hope ... he's wants to be loved and wants things to go well... anyway, in my understanding its a about a lover... a relationship that went wrong and he's still in love with that person in that way that he would even want to be anther person... to love them!:) nice song:) nice voice! |
