I like how he's telling someone to make him a mix tape, and also telling them what songs to put on. These lyrics leave out my favorite part of the song, though. I'm not sure of the exact lyrics because they're a bit hard to understand, but I think it's along the lines of "Put on Duran Duran, The Rant, [Adam] Durant, and U2.." I like that string of groups because it all sounds like the same word.. Duran duran duran duran and u2, or what have you. |

Dude's just afraid his girl's gonna leave him, and he hasn't got anything else. Also tpr swears by nostalgia(or they used to), everything they did up til recently is like that. All vaguely related to some childhood in some small town with fields, rivers, waterfalls, etc. |

I always thought the lyric went "we are pairs of apheleon" and just pronounced incorrectly. Didn't Davey also get a case of brain cancer between this album and the last as well? That sort of thing could go a long way towards changing their sound from silly pop songs that use the same 4-chord progression across an entire album to this. But does anybody have any idea what this dude is ever talking about? |

He does that a lot and it's generally pretty cool.. Unfortunately everything he writes is either extremely literal or extremely impossible to understand, so there isn't too much to talk about except "OMG SO GR8 IN CONCERT I C THEM LAST NITE"
