This is why this site is called songmeanings. It clearly states that people can comment what they think the song means...mainly TO THEMSELVES. Gustavo20s interpretation is actually a good one, just for the fact that it was taken outside of Silent Hill and placed into daily life...songs can suddenly mean something else to the person if they have somewhat experienced what the song says, even if knowing the real meaning behind it. |

This song reminds me of one of Falling Forward's songs...and kinda like Chris Higdon's voice as it was in Falling Forward before he went onto Elliott...Chester with Grey Daze, to Linkin Park...and both Linkin Park and Elliott are broken up? This song is awesome! I think that apart from Creep, this song is my favorite from Pablo Honey. I think that I can agree with JonnyBones on this one...It does seem that he must think that his life is held together by routine. Anyhoo, I love this song...although I think it annoys neighbors when I crank it up...heh, that's what they get for being so annoying with their music when I'm trying to sleep. This song introduced me to Coheed-they're freakin' amazing!! At first, I thought the singer was a girl-but my cousin told me it was a guy. I was like, what?! She was like, yeah, it' s a dude. Anyway, this doesn't need a label-forget about them! They're just things company's put out there to categorize, and sell more stuff. But his vocals, oh my Kami, they are unique! Like no other! Anyway, they don't deserve to be categorized in anyway, just like I feel about Elliott-I highly recommend this band, and Elliott to your rockin' ears! Unless you already know about Elliott...but you notice that the singers from this band, and Elliott both have unique vocals which are soothingly soft-well, maybe I'm just talking about Elliott there-but enough talk- this band ROCKS!! |

Yo, Yellowcard rocks!! This was the song that made me buy the CD for $1.00!! I hate to admit it, but I bought it at a thrift store! Ha! I knew Yellowcard before all those preps that like 'em now!! Anyway, I introduced Yellowcard to some of my friends, and they were like, "Is this some kind of christian band?" I was like, heck no! They tour with all those other Punk bands!! One friend I had introduced to(that has moved away), was totally blown away! She was like, "Wow, I haven't heard of this band, who are they?" I was like, Yellowcard, man! But that was in 8th grade...now I'm in 10th. It goes to show you that introducing people to unknown bands is sometimes a good thing to do! Got any unknown bands? Go ahead, Introduce them to your friends!! I've tried to introduce Elliott, but so far, no one seems to like them-well, maybe just one friend, but it's a good start! |

Wow, I'm the first on this song...can't believe it. Anyway, I think this song signifies that there's a storm coming, and that it's not really a storm-it's really someone destroying someone else...tears soaking the pavement signifies that someone is going through emotional times for someone else's cause, and that it's telling you to let the tears fall...let them escape to free yourself from the emotions...I don't know, but it was the first song I liked on Song in the Air...maybe this is just my opinion. |

I think it's talking about an addiction(maybe a drug addiction), and trying to make things straight again...I don't know, but I play this song more than I do any of the other ones.
