This is my favorite. I love this chorus. In my opinion, the sacred silence and sleep is a metaphor regarding the silence before a storm and the calm which follows it. Being representative of a riot, or uprising, of course.
I really don't feel as if that line gets enough attention in discussion, and it's such though-provoking writing. |
