This is the song for my funeral. It might be about war and all of that but think about it, it's just about death. and it sounds like he wispers "Just me.." at the end.. and "There's nothing I'm planning to take, just me" means suicide. It's probably not what he ment with the song but its what it means to me. |

I think the song is about Vail. The song has such a personal meaning to me. and to me it's just a love song. Kurt said he wanted his songs to be like art. Just paint some kind of picture that you can make whatever you want out of. He was driven to dispear by that girl.
