I realize this song has been around for a while. THis to me makes it even more meaningful. People are still writing about it. It was good enuf to stick around. THis song is like a oxymoron. Only happy when things are as shitty as they can get, only a truly sarcastic person can understand that hidden meaning. |

When he says the line "this is fact not fiction, for the first time in years" it seems to me as if he's almost saying this is the first thing that he's actaully sure about in years. He's hasn't been so confident and comfortable with the truth in a long time. And it seems like he almost regrets not doing more in the relationship. Sounds like he's blaming himself over someone leaving him.
*But I'm not too good at this deciphering songs stuff, so who knows?

This is one of the greatest examples of emo/ acoustic music I've ever heard. I heard about foreverinmotion from www.purevolume.com . Brendan has a few other songs out too. I can't wait to get his album. The words are so deep, yet simplistic. There are a lot of images and phrases that I personally can relate to, I guess that's why it's one of my favorites. |
