WhoIsBatman is right...it's a combination of love lost and saying goodbye to coke, but contrary to popular belief, the "shadows on the wall" is not a reference to a coke trip but a refence of how the shadows are a parallel life that could have been if he hadn't had so many drug problems. It's too bad everyone automatically thinks that all of Ozzy's song are about drugs or a trip because he does make some poetic and meaningful lyrics. |
