"I’m gonna close my mouth now You don't need more noise in your life I miss you more than you know But I know time makes you move on" Best part of the song for me. It's like he wants to be with her again, but he understand it would just bring her more grief in the end so he sacrifices his own happiness for hers. |

Johnny you're a fucking idiot and your combacks are weak and you sound like a fucking 10 year old who just took his first turn on urban dictionary. LIEK OMG YOUR DAD ABUSES YOU AND YOUR MOTHER SLEEPS AROUND Anyone can spurt out insults, it's just those who choose to are usually simple minded morons who have no significant thought behind them. |

I think this song represents these cliqs that people join(religious or otherwise). "I hear the waves crash far below" The certain group always is in chaos and controversey. "The rocks are leaping for the sky they?re starving for the air for a bone to break , a dream to smash apart but I don't care " This could either be member of the group or people against it. They seek to break the people that join but he wants to anyway, he is too driven. "It looks deep enough from here, I?m diving this cliff has been well worn by ignorance it looks deep enough from here, I?m diving" It looks safe to him and he regards the other people that have fallen to be ignornant. He won't be like that. "They float face down they all look so content " They all look content but he knows that they aren't. The dead always look so content that it misleads you to thinking death is peaceful. "I don?t know why I?m even here guess I?m afraid to be alone and down below i see my crew they look okay" His friends have done it and he wants to because he would be alone otherwise. "That can?t be blood the water here is far too blue and gravity seems far away" He tries to lie to himself and tell him what he is about to do won't hurt him. "But I can hear her call my name its so comforting to know ill never have to think again" "Her" is not a person, it is more of an idea. The idea that makes up the cliq he is about to join. He has yet to realize the glamour is not worth the pain so he only sees it for the good. Now go back with what I've told you. Taken out this vague "cliq" I've been using and put in different things. A religious belief, movie stars(a good one), the Darkside. Maybe it's just me. |

Wow, I just noticed something. Sure this song can be about relationships and the sort but I just read it and noticed a sort of religious reference. "Bound to this couch, I lie in waiting Watching wind blown memories Slip past my window sill I Can't fall asleep, Voice in my head disturbs me Waking nightmares keep, Hhave my cries fallen on deaf ears Can you hear me or am I" At the beginning of the song he is comtemplating something to do. He knows if he does it he will not be able to go to heaven but he doesn't even know if heaven exists. "Talking to myself again Is there anybody listening Are you taking this in Am I wasting my breath Tell me is the wind in your sails Worth everything you give Are you looking for something Forgiveness" He wants to know if there is even anyone listening and if God is even real. He wonders if "heaven" is worth all that you have to give up in life. "I leave it up to you I guess I?m better off removed Because this situation?s Growing too thick Could it have been something I said Or was it something that I did Did I ruin my chance Have you written me off Tell me where did I cross the line And can I work my way back this time Will I always regret this Decision" He make a decision that will condemn him but he leaves the decision up to God because he had good reason and "God" never gave him a sign otherwise. "I leave it up to you I hope you find a good excuse Because I?ve given about all that I can give I could try to count the times That I?ve been through this in my mind But I?m running out of fingers And I don?t have that much time" Fast forward. He has decided not to do that action after all, yet his life has still been really really bad for him(maybe the action he was going to do in the first place would have taken the bad out of his life but it would have been murder or something). He wants God to have a good excuse to why even though he was been good and followed him his life is still bad. He is about to die and see if it was even worth it in the end. I'm not religious at all, but that's an interperitation I came up with. |
