I read an interview with Brian Molko where he says that the song is about comparing the rush of falling head over heels in love or being infatuated with someone and coming upon controlled substances of any kind. He also says that it basically means what goes up must come down.
And ketamine is a horse and cat tranqualizer. The out of body experience that someone tried to describe earlier is basically a K-hole, and it differs for many people. For me I stuck in the fright of a car accident where I almost lost my life. I personally did not remember anything when I came out of it but was very tired and over time pieces come back to you. |

When I heard it I thought it was about incest alone, but some of what you guys have said makes sense together. By the way the lyrics go it sounds like he's dreaming about his sister. He is fascinated in her but not in a pure way. He wants her and when his thoughts are discovered he is suffering abuse, and the more inpure the thoughts the more beatings he recieves |
