And alot of people listen to music FOR the music....not saying that i do.....but is that so wrong? It dosent really matter, as long as your getting something from it i dont see why some people get so mad because they think other people dont understand it, or other people dont deserve to listen to it. Well, i guess some people dont, like Kurt always said.....he dosent like Jock, raceist's or sexist's listening to his music. But he didnt say anything about sociopath's. |

I dont care what the hell this song was about. Its so amazing, I love this song.....and if its making me look like an ass, singing along to every word with all my heart, than so be it. Yeah I agree with the fact that its for everyone who dosent really pay attention to lyrics so to speak. I pay attention, yes, but theres something more to this song than that. I can really feel his emotions and isnt it kind of ironic because alot of people think this is one of the songs where he puts the least amount of emotion in. But for some reason......it dosent seem that way to me. And alot of you are basicly saying that everyone who likes this song are stupid. I dont think im stupid, I think I like good music. |

And if you say this song is "annoying" it seems like you dont appreciate music too much. This was the first song i had heard and i was floored but the song that got me, the one i could listen to 6 rimes in a row and still have so much feeling for, that no matter what mood i was in it would get me in the mood i wanted to be in was and still is In Bloom. That song has yet to amaze me...it can be a depressed, lonely song or a happy carefree song......i love that song so much |

I just want to let people know that Kurt Cobain didnt write "The man Who Sold The World" David Bowie did. Not to say Nirvana didnt do an excellent cover of it.....and silvercord try "Amazon". Smells Like Teen Spirit is a good song...Kurt didnt not like playing it....he just got tired of playing it so much so he finnally stopped playing it. This song is great, not their best, but still worth praise. |

Except for he didnt kill himself. And "daddio" shut the hell up. None of his lyrics were "rubbish". It makes me wonder what kind of crap you listen too. And, if you cant figure out anything from the lyrics then Kurt's goal was achieved. His lyrics arent meant for "figureing out". They are meant to be felt. So why dont all you idiots stop trying to make sense of everything and just sit back and listen. |

God, i read a few of the posts and most of them were verrrry wrong. Rape Me (to me) is about Kurt being raped of his thoughts and his feelings and this song is just basically taunting everyone that thinks they figured him out. I know, this may be not at all what this song is about....but its alot god damn closer than what some of you idiots put on here. I swear to God Kurt Cobain is a genious AND a God at that. I dont even see the point of this thing for Nirvana, I dont think anyone will ever come close to the true meanings of the things Kurt wrote.....except for me ;) |
