wow, for real? get a grip. if you're a true "fan" you'd be happy that all time low is making new records, gaining more fans, getting somewhere. just because they're gonna have "stupid new preppy fans rolling in" doesn't mean anything about all time low as a band. and i don't know where you get that their newer fans are going to be "preppy" from. if you don't like the fans, fine. but don't complain about it, it only makes you look bad. oh, and for the record, their lyrics still ARE meaningful. take "walls" for example. "i wanna break down these walls i've built around myself. i wanna fall so in love with you, and no one else could ever mean half as much to me as you do now." that's not meaningful to you? |

I love this song! I think it's amazing. I love how he sings, "We'll carry on, we'll carry on." and "Do or die, you'll never make me. Because the world will never take my heart. I think that they said that 'There's no sympathy for the dead' means that bands that have 'died' (as in, people stopped listening to them and they became unpopular) over the years don't get any sympathy. I don't know, though. I'm not positively sure. Anyways, I love this song. These guys are amazing. Seriously, they're gonna be HUGE. :] |

Ahhh, I LOVE Escape The Fate. Discovered them from MySpace and bought their EP off iTunes. I've had it on repeat for some time now. =P I think these lyrics are mostly correct. I just keep hearing: "To Whom It May Concern, I'm the same. And all that I've learned has faded away." Not "You stayed the same." And I think they're saying "Can you tell me all the lies that you have said" not "All the lies that you have told". Not sure, though. Maybe I'm not hearing things right. -shrug- I think this song is saying how everyone is changing and no one is how they used to be, acting like someone else with their "fake personalities". |

I don't think MTV actually /wants/ the song to be about God and would rather it be about him getting over a hard relationship because that's really what all songs are about these days. But clearly, if you listen to the lyrics and turn them towards God, it sounds a whole lot more like a Christian song than a dating/relationship sort of thing. |
