This song...woah! Two words: freakin' awesome. But I have to say the music video makes me laugh. Hasn't anyone watched Best Week Ever? lol That one move Nick does when he's singing gets to me. You know, the one where he puts his arms out and does something weird with his sholders. And there's always the classic move, 'Baby, I love you so much I wanna grab my heart, but I gotta grab my jacket because it's in the way.' haha! I like this song. I don't care if liking the Backstreet Boys makes me a geek, I'm fine with that. But to remark on some of the things said earlier, I have to agree that they are not a band. They are a 'boy band'. That should explain it all for you. However, they actually can play instruments..except for Brian, but we forgive him. They just don't play them on their cd's. Except for their most recient one. I think Kevin plays the piano on that one. |

Well, I personally think this song sucks. I have to dissagree with Zacster and say that Mick's voice didn't blend. I think Nick does a lot better on faster songs like 'It's Gotta be You'. Even though I don't much care for Nick's voice, I have to say it sounded good there. |

This song is kind of like an anthem for me right now. Growing up in a church-going family, you're expected to be perfect, and live up to ppl's expectations, but I'm not perfect, and I'm not ready to live like they want me to. That's where the 'you can't save me' part takes place, and as for the 'I went to heaven. I Couldn't get in For what I had done. I said please take me. They said you're crazy. You had too much fun' part, that's really appeals to me because I'm enjoying my life the way I'm living it, not the way they want me to live it. |

I think it has to do with his past and seeing too much as a child. Maybe it scarred him for life, and he resents is mother for the things she put him through, and now, as an adult, he see himself becomming more and more like her. |

I personally love this song, but I have to admit that I didn't care much for the video. I don't think it ruined the song, however. The song to me seems to be a love song, maybe even the love of a sin...'falling from your grace'...'our wrongs remain unrectified, and our souls won't be exumed'. Perhaps it's partly a lash at God. He singer is not willing to give up this sin because of his love for it. |
