| Never thought of that interpretation, but it makes sense. I always imagined the shells being eggshells and that NEVER made sense for me, but upon recent listening, I thought seashells. In "End it on This," there's a line that goes, "Washed up on the shore/Given once last chance to try some more," so perhaps she's referencing the same breakup metaphor. "End it on This" was about ending things with Tony, and I always got the feeling the first stanza of SKOL was referring to him, too.
