alright, so i believe it is about God too!! woah surprise, surprise. Anyway as you can all tell it is excellently written, much more subtle than other songs about God, leaving plenty of room for interpretation. However there are some very blatant references that make me believe it's about God... or returning home (both?). i see how you can believe that it's about Christ, it seems to make sense, but i see it more of Billy finding God again or returning home, the two are interchangeable i suppose. He drifted away and had a very fluxuating relationship with God but it's all good now, or it seems to be in the song. Yeah, and the swans of never, it seems to be that God's love is forever and the swans are representing how other things that seem gracefull and awesome don't last forever, hence, them toppling to the earth. so... peace? |

so, basically, for a while billy corgan thought he was a superhero, named zero, and this song relates to that. also, he later names himself glass. that's why he had the zero shirt. it's abot being a superhero. |

the song is not about Kurt Cobain, Billy hated Kurt. Anyways, it's basically about trying to find yourself... in the first lines he's playing on the word drag not only to be a "drag" as the day is but also as in rock star drag. it's basically putting on different personas to find out who you are. it's a teen anthem of sorts about how no one wants to be forgotten |

i'm sorry, but you people are overlooking the meaning of the last lines. notice how almost the entire song is filled with disgust and anger but then the last two completely change the tone of the song? He's basically talking about how much everything sucks, but none if it matters because he has the person he's in love with |
