| Good song. I listen to it and both don't like the sound and like it. The lyrics look good but the music viedeo is distrubing. He runs over a girl so his friends can rob a safe in a store (owner goes to see if girl is alright). He then leaves her laying in the street. Hit and Run. but then she gets up and leaves on someones motorcycle. Was it a setup? If it was, then the video makes even less sense. | |

I am neither Republican or Democrats. Lately, republicans are starting to tick me off. Trying to ruin everything. Bush is all anti Gay Marriage. Why does he care so much? Oh, because he wants to please all the evangelicals. Who in return got him into office. Sad, really. I hope Bush relizes that during the next four years he better not pick the country we go to war with next the same way he did the last time. Eenie, Meenie, Minnie, Moe. I can rant about how both parties are doing some stupid crap, but Republicans are doing the worst damage. With their, your anti-american if you are not republican (Hannity from Fox). I can rant about Dems, but I will save that for later (seeing I much rather see them in office than Bush [though that is not saying much]. |

American Idoit is Political. It is agaisnt Bush. I saw it on VH1. They said so. Green Day thought they could make a difference in the election. E.G. "red neck agenda". This song is interesting. Very good, it took me long enough to get it though. There past albums were ok. But all of them are based on smoking and sex. They ligthen up on drugs a bit in this album (wasn't main point). My list for top Green Day songs. 1.Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) 2. Jesus of Suburbia 3.Blvd. of Broken Dreams 4. American Idoit Good Riddance beats all there other songs by a mile. Fantastic song. One of the best of all time. Jesus of Suburbia, is great lyrics. Blvd. of Broken Dreams is fantastic. American Idoit, is strong, has a good meaning, but is not the great musically. |
