To me, this song is about losing yourself. It's about realizing that you've become cold, distant, empty, and numb- the realization that you've been fading for a while, but only just noticing it. A subtle, sick emptiness eating away at you. It's about being unable to stop yourself from fading. But then again, that's just me. Beautiful song, one of thier best, in my opinion. |
