Pink Floyd – Comfortably Numb Lyrics 20 years ago
I downloaded a video of Floyd playing this song in Live 8. What the hell happened to Roger's voice? He sounds like he's 100 years old. He can barely make himself audible, and even then it's barely more than a whisper.

Led Zeppelin – Ten Years Gone Lyrics 21 years ago
I think the line:
But as the eagle leaves the nest, it's got so far to go
is about the very beginning of life, when one first becomes independant. I find it interesting that this line comes before the metaphor for death:

An' though the course may change sometimes
Rivers always reach the sea

Cream – Tales Of Brave Ulysses Lyrics 21 years ago
Also, the line about "touch the distant beaches" and "where the sky loves the sea" seem to relate to an other world, like Heaven.

Cream – Tales Of Brave Ulysses Lyrics 21 years ago
I believe that it pertains to being shot in the head, especially the line "carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of your mind" and the term "crimson shell"...

Led Zeppelin – Achilles Last Stand Lyrics 21 years ago
I listened to this song in its entirety for the first time this morning, and it got me so psyched! Such a powerful, driven beat, with an overwhelming warlike quality. It really almost makes you feel like you're driving into battle.
