ps even though sme might ask, "what's the point?" to this song, it is one of my favorites (maybe because of that). the music and words are very emotionally provocative to me and it can have different points to different people- open to interoretation-. its not meant to tell a story but to leave you with a feeling. i usually love brand new for their music which is accompanied by their poetic lyrics, but idk why this is just so pretty to me too. |

yeahi was definitely thinkign it could be something payed backwards but i have no way of going about and checking that...at least not that i know of. and also, unless there are lyrics in the packet you have to order im sure they WANTED this to be too ambiguous to figure out so is there a point in trying or arguing? |

okay yeah i just read page two of the comments after i just posted this last one, but um im definitly
noticing that all TBS songs after TAYF *DO* grow on people, and i find thats the same with 'louder now'. when i first heard it i was 'dissapointed' in the same sense as i was with WYWTB but everybody i talekd to says its growing on them, so idk. give it time and dont set impossible standards! this band has so much talent. and i dont agree with clairey thsi song is not about sex at all. |

the first time they say "i never made a scene" and it gets quiet, and the drums...best part. and um i dont see why so many peolpe are so critical of the stuff TBS came out with after TAYF because even if john were in the band their sound would always evolve and differentiate like that of all memorable artists. it all grows on you either way, in my opinion, so we shoudl all just be grateful that theyre even still makign music for us to fall in love with. |

okay im still really mad that so much of my comment isnt there but aside from that, i think these lyrics are wrong...shouldnt it be:
You're coming off kind of contrived and pretentious. You're not saying anything we haven't heard before. You're caught up in an argument,
oh, oh, you're so lost in modern art.
You will lose it all and you will find again.
Don't lose touch. Don't lose touch.
SOS texted from a cell phone.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks we're taking ourselves too seriously.
Just a little too enamored with inflated self purpose. talk is cheap and it doesn't mean much.
Don't lose touch. Don't lose touch. I'm losing touch.
I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch.
Constant entertainment for our restless minds. Constant stimulation for epic appetites.
Is there something wrong with these songs? Maybe there's something wrong with the audience. Manipulation in rock music. Fucking nausea.
I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. I'm losing touch. And it's obvious. |

why does everyone want to be the only one who loves a band? it seems that too many people try to be the first to know of an underground group and get credit for being 'original'; then when they band gets popular they disown them. the music doesnt sound worse just because more people are listening to it. and knowing about music before someone else doesnt make you a more interesting person/ listening to a band longer than someone else doesnt make you superior to them |

the opening to this song reminds me of the cure; i havent really heard much of the smiths or morissey, i should probably give them a listen. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW CD though and better recorded versions of these songs -and hopefully some others a little more like the old stuff too just because i love the classic brand new |

im having trouble finding anything on this, but is there any information on what the name means, or its origin or things like that? and the idea that shes made up by him and he has control over what shes supposed to represent...idk maybe im weird, but the name sounds like 'marionette', then also there's words like ariette/arietta that are defined as an elaborate song for solo voice...does anyone see a connection there like i do (but lack the words to explain)? |

someone said earlier about the title- "so it doesn't really matter if he drives with or without a seatbelt", but that doesnt make sense, since its kinda got the plane motif in it and its not really about driving. i think his "plane" is crashing, he wants the girl to fly it for him, and at this point hes not gotta even "put his seatbelt on" while it crashes. or something. just not about driving a car. so yeah, id just have to disagree with vroom rocks on that one. |
