i think u r right, but it seems like he is talking about a girlfriend not just a friend. i think he doesn't want to brake up with her, but in his heart he knows that it is the right thing to do. in the end he learns that it can't work and has problems facing the facts of life. no matter what the meaning is it's still a great song. |

Two things, one SG3012 u said that once now u're tellin it again. Second (and this is to bugmenot) if u listen real hard u can hear the "I" in "I walk alone", the words r so mixed in with one another it's hard to hear it. |

That's alot of b/s and u plus Atthedrive-in r alot of b/s to. Green day don't come close to what Avril Lavigne sings. Green day is alot better then that can't sing odd-ball. The only thing real good about her is her looks, but i'm getting off the subject. U said and I quote "Their all fake, and their stealing your money, stop fooling yourselevs." end quote. Their not fake or stealing the bayer's money. Yes their older stuff was good, but alot of times u can only get better (like if one.) I feel this song is about someone wanting a person to kill them before they hurt them. Maybe not kill them on the outside but on the inside like breakin up with them or something. this song sounds like a road i've done been down. it ain't fun. it really makes u think should i trust people or just myself. with this song green day has said things i try to tell my ex-girlfriend, like when they say "I walk this empty street On the Blvd. of broken dreams" if it made her feel the way i did when she broke up with me, she would see that i hoped we could be together forever, but like some hopes and dream they r meant to stay just that hopes and dreams. off that i feel they did a good job. |
