wow the arguing... Applez88 says you were both correct! But Emily 14 is a bit harsh in her first comment! and had unnessary use of the word "fuck" (I dont like swearing) I think this is a great song though and agree with the hippie type meaning... since i'm against swearing there is probably no surprize there.

I heart this song. I see there are arguments going on regarding if the song is about, sex or acid or electricty..
I really don't think it's about acid. .. just because they pull the moon down and drink whats inside. That's only a part in the film clip, and I don't see anything in lyrics that make me think it's about acid.. From what others have said, i think it's about sex.
But then someone said, in an interview the band said it's actually just about electricity.

Great song! how high is Scods voice!!!!!!! in the 3rd last verse it's like wow... nice work... (nice work in your ability to sing high, scod)
However my brother and i are having a debate. I insist that scods voice is higher, but my brother thinks that gatesy's voice is higher... I say scods voice is higher in all aspects, my brother insisted that scod only sings high in Falsetto. And that gatesy sings high from the chest loudly.

I agree with a few of the people above, that this is just a song about love. oh, but i don't agree with the person whom thought it was about a sexually transmitted disease, what a silly sally.
I really like the singer's voice, and find it the opposite of annoying! I reckon his high-pitched voice is one of the main reasons why The darkness are so awesome. There's also the guiter solo's, interesting lyrics and the fact that they write their own music. So yeah.... GO THE DARKNESS WHOO! |
