Okay, thanx for trying but you guys didnt answer any of my questions. Like how they refer to Nabisco, does anyone know of a specific incident or scandal for why they may have used Nabisco rather than any other large corporation or just news corporations in general? or the non-stop disco part. I dont really agree with what was said about that earlier. I think it may have another meaning but I'm not exactly sure. Any ideas? |

| The Used – Blue And Yellow Lyrics

This song made me shake the first time i ever heard it, and it still gives me shivers when i hear it. it is so amazingly powerful. when i first got the CD i assumed it was about love, because
'well you never would've thought in the end how amazing it feels just to live again
it's a feeling that you can not miss
and it burns a hole through everyone that feels it'
reminded me of the first time i fell in love. i came out of my shell of depression and self hate and breathed the free air again. I learned to live again under my boyfriends love and protection and care. even now that that part of my life is over, this song reminds me of those days. once you are burned through and tatooed by love nothing can ever take that away. i now realize how much other love is surounding me, and how much friendship is really worth. i think the song is about all kinds of love, and the hope and freedom and life that comes from relationships with people you care about. you can't find people if you look for them, but they are there when you need them the most. the purity of love is a light to see by, and even if it dosn't seem like its working out, give it another try because otherwise you'll regret it 'waste some time with you' trying to make it work. its about love that you have for all the people you care about and the hope and light and life that this brings. |

| Brand New – Okay I Believe You, but My Tommy Gun Don't Lyrics

This song is by far my favorite of all time. Brand New is so true to life and so real, and i agree with Sodakornu that this song is awsome for connecting with people. I know it tells alot about my life. I don't neccisaraly think its Jesse being cocky. I think its more sarcastic about life. 'I'm all you've ever wanted, i am the cause to all your problems.' defanately says something about self-image, as does alot of the other parts. its sad and hopeless, and degrading. It also focuses alot on truth in every aspect in life, but there is so much depth in this song, just like in all Brand New stuff you really have to go through it line by line and understand it all. Chalenge: go break it up line by line and see wahat it seems to mean then. i think you'll get more then 'cockyness' out of it. I did, but thats because i focus on the music, rather then the artist and their personal life. If you get over the hollywood aspect of this type of music you can get so much more out of it. Its all about the music, and thats how real artists want it to be. Anyone with me on that one? |
