Pac is a legend....it is amazing how so many years after his death that people still cherish his music and buy his cd's. All of that shows that he is a legend in the rap game, it is amazing...Lil Romeo cut him up on his last album though... |

This song is good and he new cd is tight, but it still can't even compare to his older stuff. (Venni Vetti Vecci) I like New York, that song is a good collaboration. Also, two of my favorites from his new cd are definetely track 16 Where I'm From and Track 18 Passion. These songs both are tight...He still would get fucked up by G-Unit though lol... |

| Eminem – Like Toy Soldiers Lyrics

This cd is good and Eminem is proving that he is one of the best rappers (and lyricist) of all time. His style and passion separates him from all of the weak ass bitches that call themselves rap artists. I like the meaning of this song because it is serious and shows that he is smart and does respect others.
Reverand TM "Only a bunch of ignorant rappers go about doing this sort of thing. Importance to music and culture in the future: zero."
Reverand you obviously live underneath a rock or inside of a fucking cave because rap is important to our culture and to music. It is people like you and other lame critics that try to "ban" his songs or try to keep kids from listening to or buying his music. Rap Haters and critics are just scared that we (the listeners) will actually listen to what the rappers are telling us to do. Rap is portrayed as being a terrible, malicious thing, but in reality it is just an honest way of expressing thoughts. We listen to people like Eminem because we can relate to him because he isn't fake and uses language that normal Americans can understand. (We don't have to be talked down to, but in order to associate and relate with people of high power we need to understand where they are coming from and what message they are giving, and that is what Eminem does)...Edited by random_monkey on January 29 2006, at 08:52AM |

OpinionHead...I do not agree often with others shitty and insignificant comments but I do think that ur opinion has validity and is relevant...Jay-Z's departure from rap now is definetely the appropriate move for him to make. Has anyone heard his album that he produced with Linkin Park?? That is one of the best cd's that i have ever listened to, which is pretty significant considering the fact that i listen primarily just to rap...His song with Linkin Park (99 Problems) is bad ass i suggest listening to it if you have yet to hear it...Eminem is a tight lyricist though, his style is unique and awesome. |

Immortal Technique is tight because they are actually educated, which is very rare in the rap world. However, i am not making fun of all the other rap because i like it all, but this is a nice change for once. They really know how to rap powerfully, with actual relevancy. |

| Lil Jon – Get Low Lyrics

I don't know why people get so mad at rappers and say they have no talent. Since most of these alleged "Shitty" rappers sell more albums and have more fans than other genres, it is evident that this music is affecting people, and YES you dumb fucks they sell more records than the so-called "meaningful" music. I don't have a problem with other genres of music, but i am tired of people disrespecting rap just because it is more popular and successful than your music.Get a fucking life bitches. Rap may have a plethora of cracked out uneducated artists, but you can't deny that they sell records, and in today's money-driven society isn't that the accepted principle in business anyway? Rap is different than other kinds of music, but its purpose is to produce music that RAP listeners enjoy. If you don't like rap than don't listen to it an criticize it. I respect all artists because they all have talent, which of course varies greatly but it is still talent. Lil Jon doesn't need a lot of lyrical talent and an extensive vocabulary becuase he is predominately a producer and doesn't need many lyrics in his style of club banging music. Lil jon's songs are tight and he does have talent and if you don't recognize that just walk down the street and you will probably hear someone say YEA...Most artists wish they could enjoy the success lil jon has experienced... |

| Nas – Hate Me Now Lyrics

I disagree with those that are saying rap is nothing but a bunch of crap. Of course everybody is entitled to their own opinions, but labeling the entire genre of rap as crap or whatever is unfair and over-critical. Personally I do not listen to much Punk music, but the music i have heard has been ok, and i respect it for its differences. I may not agree fully with everything that an artist says, but it is this dichotomy in the styles of music that makes it so great. Everyone is going to have their opinions about music, of course, but these are just bias criticisms that usually serve no validity. Nas is depicted in the video as "Jesus", but it is not meant in a sacrilegious way. Nas' lyrics are controversial, but they are meaningful, and he is not dissing God. Sometimes the connotations of his lyrics are misconstrued and that is why society disagrees so often with his lyrics. His lyrics are some of the best in the rap game. Nas does things with words that most rappers couldn't dream of doing. He is an intelligent, amazing artist and his legacy will be one of greatness. Streets Disciple is bad ass album... |
