Vozzy...I'm not sure where you got all that from, but it's my understanding that Ed never met his father. Or at least didn't know who his father was until after the guy died. Hence, the first verse of "Alive." Anyway, this is one of my favorite PJ songs and I agree with the others who said it's teenage rant music. And also, I think Eddie's talking to the fans who, once they hit it big, started to look up to him - "I am lost. I'm no guide, but I'm by your side. I am right by your side." |
