Actually I don't think he made this girl up " I get nervous perverse when I see her its worse." So this girl is obviously real, but she's not his hence "I can't make her real" She'll never be his because either she really doesn't notice him, or she just doesn't want to give him the time of day. But obviously our protagonist in this story is governed by his emotions for this woman. |

When I first hear this song I was immediatley reminded of the 80's. I think this song maybe somewhat about a Psych-Ward. "Tracing circles in the Violets Prison for Violent Visions" See thats the part the really sticks with you, "Prison for Violent Visions" Where would you be for violent visions? An asylum type institution.
My second guess was that the protagonist in this story has made their own prison. "Past uncertainties combine, bringing tears to sleepless eyes. Memory runs the course of time. Blood runs cold" Maybe the person was wronged in the past and they just can't put the past behind them so now they've become inprisoned by their thoughts.

This songs is about the games both guys and girls play hence; "Boys are so cruel.." "Girls are so vain.."
The Song is also about how society masks themself and it gets so bad that some of us don't know who we are anymore, and don't even try to find out, hence; "To those of us who never try to find a face behind our lipstick smiles.."
Chibi the lead singer in this case is suppose to be the mediator, and messianic figure who can save you from girls,boys, and yourself. Hence; "I'll cast you a spell, magic where everyone plays dead forever..."
