For me, the most important thing in this song is to realize that a person who you love can turn out to be different than what you hoped for. Love isn't perfect, more often it sucks. yes, this song is religous, and also every verse can be related to love. the song tells the how he feels after breaking up with his girlfriend, and he realize that she was the first person who he realy loved. the first verses tells us how much he loved his girlfriend. he's realy hurt by the break up. the fourth verse is about the great sex they had, and how much he misses that the last verse tells us what he learned about love, and how much it sucks the great thing about this song is the way he tells us how he feels in a religous way. beautiful |
