To me it means: in short ; That its almost not worth it as an artist to wast his uniqueness on the ears of the pop cult that will rip it off and wear it out and not get it, but then he also knows that some of us do get it so why punish a few for the crime of thousands. hes gonna do his thing fight off the leaches, and go home.
