Okay, I may be COMPLETELY inaccurate here, but I have a theory about what Box Car Racer's entire album is about:
The album follows a boy's life from his childhood through his adolescence and teenage years (chronologically). It begins with a song about being abused as a child ("I Feel So") and -- aside from the instrumental track -- ends with a song about his suicide ("Elevator").
Look at the lyrics to every song on this album. This album literally covers a boy's life from his youth to his premature death. We all go through different phases and experiences as we mature, and so does the person in these songs. I feel this album is very emotional and perhaps a bit deeper than people generally give it credit for.
