I think you got most of it and here are my filling thoughts, She lost her virginity before marriage. I came to this conclusion from the other songs on the album. Also the priest is afraid because he's realizing her beauty in a sexual manner and is starting to realize that the void in humans or the divinity within that can not be explained by words is expressed, in part, by sexuality. That this human body is only a tool to express the explicable and taciturn thing we call being human. | My friend's Uncle James reminds me of this song. He thought he could be a film director for so long. He really wanted to get into the industry, but then about 10 years went by and he didn't get far with it. so much time went by that when he realized that he had to try to get a better job he had lost so much time. he was 27 by the time he realized that his dream didn't take him far. I think this is the summary of the whole story. Kind of like a wrap up. Explaining the whole trek through describing his feelings towards all the events that had fallowed. Well this song seems to be about Vismund Cygnus has been very depressed about never knowing his real family or parents for that matter. In this line is shows how he doesn't know what happens (but is shown to the aduience on the ocean floor comment) "The ocean floor is hidden From your viewing lens A depth perception Languished in the night" This line is used in a 3rd person perspective we all see it in. | In this song he realizes that the world is not what it seems to be as he was growing up. Everything around him is just a crumbling image. He try's to look for more excuses but can't find anything. All this new knowledge is like a flood to him. It get's him scared. It's nothing but choas to him. Everything that he has (in this case it's what he thinks reality is) is going to be taken away. Imagine a little child learing things as he grows up, not so hard right? Well what if he has grown up and he found out what he learned was not the truth.
