Let's say this 15 year old girl gets raped and she ends up pregnant...would it be fair for her to ruin her whole life just to have a baby who would remind her every single day of the time she got raped? Even if she gave it up for adoption, the baby would be growing inside of her for a period of 9 months...in 9 months a fifteen year old girl can do so much. Its the peak of her teenage life...would it be fair to take that away from her? Would it be fair to force her to have a baby she doesnt even want? No it wouldnt. All the people here who think abortion is murder have to think twice before stating their opinion. I have no respect for this song. POD is a MALE band...what do they know about abortion? They dont know how women feel. Ofcourse abortion is a hard process but it is also a choice...I'm not saying it would be right to start using it as a contraceptive but all i'm saying is that if a girl ever finds herself in a position like the one i mentioned earlier, she should have the right to choose and no one should have the right to call her a murderer.

n e ways, this song is shit. The worst lyrics i have ever seen. If you're against abortion then your against a woman's right to choose and i find that to be a load of bullshit. And who is P.O.D to judge? They're MEN. I find it atrocious how they talk to the women like that. I mean how do they know what having a baby feels like? And what if you got raped and you were caught with your rapist's baby? Would you keep the baby knowing that everytime you look at your child it will remind you of a memory you wanted to forget? I dont think so...
So i think that P.O.D should shut the f*ck up for writing a song about something they know very little about. |
