when i listen to this song, i can't help thinking of a book called '1984'... in this book, society is led by a party and the called "Big Brother", which controlled completely their lives and acts... sometimes people disappeared without a trace because the party found that they could represent a risk by being alive, and its like is said in the song... "But you don't work here anymore Its just a vacant 3 by 4 And they might fill your place A temporary stand-in for your face It happens all the time And I can't help but think I'll die alone" and there are also other parts that are related... i dunno, but thats what i see... |
