| Sufjan Stevens – We're Goin' to the Country Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Definitely one of my favourites from the entire Christmas collection! Too bad it's so short though... | |
| Neil Young – Bandit Lyrics | 20 years ago |

| The Tragically Hip – If New Orleans Is Beat Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Man, I submitted this song like a year ago and it never got posted...they probably thought it was the same as 'New Orleans is Sinking'. WHatever, this song rocks - not sure what it means, but I'm fine with that! | |
| Extol – Burial Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Haha rabbitsrabbit, couldn't have said it better myself! These assholes are just used to songs about money, 'hoes' and gay fucking 'bling"...show them a song with any meaning at all and they go berserk - so you don't complain when songs are about killing or 'against the establishment', but when a song comes out about a person's faith, you freak out? You guys are fucked in the head... | |

So Mothra...what's happened to your band that's gonna whip all our asses...? Stii haven't heard of it - wonder why? Look who your crappy inspirations are. By the way, I'm gonna ask a few "average joes" which version they like better - even my buddy who hates Pearl Jam lol, the bastard ;) |

| Blink-182 – All the Small Things Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Best punk band ever? They're barely punk anymore, pop-punk at BEST. You gotta admit, they're cashing in on the bigger "let's-pretend-to-be-punk-when-we're-really-just-pop-obsessed-assholes" market. Listen to some real punk like Anti-flag or Bad Religion and then tell me what you think..."best punk band ever"...just wow. | |

You know, it's weird...the only way the Aaron Lewis fans can defend his singing is by insulting the PJ fans who are all apparently fallatio addicts...what an odd group we are. You'd all make excellent members of a debate team - has anyone ever told you that? Ya, I can see it now: "Rebuttle?" "Ummm...You guys are dick suckers!! YEAHHHHH!" "Oh my - the other side seems to be having trouble coming back at that one! Ladies and gentlmen, I think we have a new team of champions!" Assholes (sorry, stooping to your level again). If you listen to the Aaron Lewis recording and were to start a metronome along with him, he wouldn't sway from that even once - that's not emotional playing, and any supposed musician can appreciate what I'm saying. He has no feeling. He doesn't employ the use of rubato. He's going back to a Boroque style which might have been nice in the 1700's, but come on. If I wanna hear such an utterly PRODUCED sound, I'll buy a Britney Spears album; but that's the thing, I don't. Now I know none of you will take this seriously, and I'll continue to be a "dick sucker" or "cock licker" or some other equally compelling person, but seriously, get over it. I know we'll never convince one a nother, seeing as music is such a personal thing, so why the hell am I trying? Who knows, but I thought I should say all this. Anyways, if you'll excuse me, I think I have a life to get back to (and oddly enough, no dicks to suck...wow.) |

| Wow, I just listened to the Aaron Lewis version of this song...and I gotta say, he butchered it - I've been exposed to A LOT of music, I take piano lessons from a concert pianist and love all types of music, from rock to classical, but that guy doesn't sing with much feeling - at all. Was he playing along with a fucking metronome in front of him? He puts as little feeling into his singing as Cher or someone equally crappy. Granted, he might be right for the songs that HE writes, but not for this one. Mothra, I'm sorry that you're so stuck in your hatred for Pearl Jam that you aren't even willing to admit that this song really is great, but to each his own. I wonder, have you ever heard of a concept called rubato? Man, could that guy (Aaron) ever use some, in both singing and guitar playing - anyways, that's my take on this. | |
