I agree with both the Latin and Jules Verne theories. So cool that Nightwish was able to work both into such an amazing song! As for that line about the flower between pages, I think it has something to do with preserving something beautiful. Flowers are oftentimes pressed by slipping them between a book's pages. So I guess the past for which she yearns was tucked away very early on (P. 2 and 3)? And it's another reference to literature! |
