I always thought the song had something to do with the legend of the curse of 27. You know how all the great music legends die at the age of 27 b/c back in the day some blues singer that really sucked at first sold his soul to the devil to become one of the greatest in a weeks time? In a way it makes since you win youget a fiddle made of gold (all the monely and fame) and if you lose he gets your soul. Only this time the devil lost. But hey I don't know. But I do really belive the 27 thing b/c too many legends have died at that age.

In order to fully understand what they are saying you have to listen to part 1 & 2 also. Part one has to do with his father dieing in a war before he was born. Part two has to do with people controlling you. As for the another brick one the wall I think it stands for all the soilders that died in the past wars and all they got was their name on a wall. Just another brick in the wall. Because pretty much thats all they get.

The Conferdate flag stands for us leaving the union and trying to become our own state. A lot of our ancestors died because of it. It is how way of showing them that we have not forgotten them and the fight they had to fight. And just for the record slavery was not the reason we wanted to become our own country. A lot of it had to do with taxes and how we felt the gov't was miss treating us. That is the reason we proudly fly the flag. Slavery has nothing to do with it. This should not offend anyone. Some people just like to bitch about anything they can. In the same theory I should be able to tell you not to wear a certain color shirt b/c that offends me. The way I see it if you don't like it, don't look at it!

Fat girl first of all lay of the twinkies and maybe you wouldn't be so damn big. As for you Buck Wilder the rebel flag is not a symbol of racism it is a symbol of our heritage (a word that you know nothing about). As for you down grading us southerners you can just kiss my rebel ass. You are making unfounded commits about a culture you know very little about. That to me is racist. So to all you assholes who diss on the south, you can go staright to hell!

James are you really that stupid? The song is a tribute to Marilyn Monroe. She is one of the most important icons of the 20th century and Elton John wrote a song about her. If you are in any doubt about this just read the words. And also I have to agree with DJacques75 she did not commit suicide. She has murdered because JFK let secerts slip to her during pillow talk. He had her killed to try and save himself but in the end his own gov't had him killed. That's gotta suck!
