Very well made, I wear the A&F too. LOL I wasn't trying to use them as a negative example, I am just saying that most people flock to that clothing line because it is 'cool.' The point I am trying to make is, be yourself. Be unique. Those people who actually hit self-actualization are those who can do what they do and not have to fit in with any crowd. I mean come on, I get crap all the time because I blare Michelle Branch in the car. Love her writing. And please, don't hate on a band because they went in a different direction music-wise. Every artist is entitled to quench his or her or their artistic thirst. If it means a rock artist doing a rap album, a rock band going a little pop, or anything like that, so be it. If you don't like it, make your own album! If you don't have the talent, then respect those that do. There are plenty of other bands out there that you could listen to instead of bashing Good Charlotte. |

I seriously have to laugh at all these 'punk' listeners who were no doubt fans of Good Charlotte until it was UNCOOL. Isn't the whole punk image based around the fact that you aren't supposed to care what other people think? And yet, you are followers just like the latest person sporting an A&F shirt talking about rollin' a blunt and pimpin' hoez. I happen to like this song, being fully aware that it is now frowned upon to like Good Charlotte. I just don't give a damn. And I'm not even punk. :-D |
