Well, I think the "smack on the wrist" is definitely saying that the person didn't get shit for all the terrible things they done, that they don't even believe what they did was wrong, and this "reduced" sentence is justice, but Phil says that it is bullshit, that the guy is bad. I think I_LIKE_BEANS is def. on the right track...any way about it, it's a kick ass song, one of my fav. |

great song. it's about sex, haha. but really tho, the last verse is the best, i love it. oh, and two corrections, like jadedfunkgirl said, it is "we look better undressed" and another line "this is just like replays" is actually "this is just like Ripley's" because the next line is "believe it or not, but i love ya". Comes from Ripley's Believe It Or Not for anyone wondering what i'm talkin about. Had to mention it, because I hate when lyrics are messed up. |

I agree with anomalou3 and Blind Opius. It's about religion and abortion. The girl has been persecuted for having an abortion by the "bible thumpers" and now she is turning and putting her "Hands On the Bible" because they have used those scare tactics so much that she has given in to their ways. The message I get is: Don't put your hands on the fucking bible, regardless. |
