It is a very close song. It is about the inevitable passage of time, about the glance backwards with sweet flavor some times, and bitter others. It evokes in us all those memories that we have forgotten and that sometimes they arise unexpectedly when passing by a place, or simply when stopping to us to remember the past. All those people who were close for us in a moment of our lives, and that now is only memories stumped in our memory. As the Buddhists say: “If you have arrived at this world, you must understand its nature. Everything is prepared to disappear”. |

I think that this is one of the most beautifull songs that i´ve ever heard. It´s no doubt, it´s about the mos wonderfull love that exist in the world, that one that never let you down and ever is with you when you need it; the mother´s love, of the losted mother. Memories from his childhood come to john´s mind like a dream of a child; sunny days of games and caresses, of human heat, of sweet smiles. It is a way to meet up whith the lost mother, to touch its face, to caress her and to let himself caress by her, to feel her. All it with the inevitable presence of Yoko-oceanchild-, being this the one who fill the empty affective place left by his mother, after her tragic death. Simply wonderful! |
