I know some hardcore Rolling Stones fan is going to hunt me down and stab me for saying this. But I really enjoy this version better than the original. I had always known of the song but it was never my cup of tea. Then I saw the excellent film Children of Men (which I recommend to everyone to go and rent or buy) and fell in love with it. Partially because the scene it was featured in was particularly sad but it fit it so well. |
