Actually, if you want examples of shows that are better than Lost, look no further than persimmon's post. He hits the nail on the head with those four, but I would consider including at least five or six other mediocre shows that are still better than Lost. |

He's trying the explain to the world that he loves having male genitalia around and inside him. Growing up in a homophobic gang environment he was never given the chance to express his sexuality. Now, after years of oppression, he is finally letting it all come out.
I'm actually really impressed by his strength. So many people have grown up in far more tolerant societies than he did, yet they lack the confidence to come out of the closet. By wearing his homosexuality like a badge, he has truly become a role model in the gay community. |

Words cannot possibly describe how wrong you are. How dare you compare this amazing band to such a worthless piece of media trash like Lost. Anyone who takes more than 5 seconds to ponder Lost knows that the show is a useless amalgamation of disjointed plot lines and symbols. Just because a show is confusing doesn't mean it is deep or brilliant. Each of a show's parts need to come together to make it brilliant, and even then it doesn't necessary have to be deep. Lost is like a chinese finger trap for stupid americas who fail to realize that there is no "greater scheme."
And don't even try to tell me that the ratings somehow make it important. Two and a Half Men is the most watched show on television. I think that example speaks for itself.
People like you don't even deserve the right to post on lowly internet forums because your ignorant jabber makes the rest of society significantly dumber. The fact that you fail to use capitals combined with your worthless opinions leads me to believe that you are either an 11 year old girl who just learned how to use a computer or a mentally retarded pervert who plays with themselves while sitting in a pile of their own feces.

When i first heard this song a few weeks ago I can't say I was impressed. Slow, building, and dies down shortly after getting exciting. Maybe a good first track for the CD but only a decent single.
And then I heard it in concert.
Holy fucking shit. What a truly epic song. One massive crescendo that builds dramatically. The band just went nuts when the "That's why I hold you"s take over at the end. Just awesome, can't wait to see them again in a week! |

Absolutely fucking awesome. Fantastic opening, even better bridge. However, the lyrics undeniably suck. Really, there's no way around it, and definitely no excuse for it. Just because it's metal doesn't mean the lyrics need to sound as if they were written by an emo 12 year old girl. Additionally, good lyrics are not necessarily indicative of pussy band (Tool should be all the proof anyone needs). It's the difference between flash-in-the-pan singles and memorable classics. |

I also think this is the best song off of porcelain. About two months ago my brother was playing some atdi and sparta and this was the first song that caught my attention. brilliant. One of the main reasons im drawn to this song is the whole idea of letting someone down because of something you cant change. I think everyone can relate to that in some way. |
