| Authority Zero – Revolution Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i'm with De1821 on this one. if you listen to more of Authority Zero's songs, especially the "A Passage In Time" Album, they're all about self determination. Rather than placeing the blame on someone or something else, take responsibility for yourself and do something. Its called "Locus of Control" for those not familiar with the psychology field. Also, if you check PCH-82, these guys also give a "big-ups" to the USA Bill Of Rights, rather than just bitching about the current political system. This is something that I find to be pretty atypical of the punk world. | |
| Green Day – Nice Guys Finish Last Lyrics | 20 years ago |

if you read the lyrics, i don't think he's talking about a girl at all, rather some asshole that he knows who's working his way up the social/professional ladder by being a prick. check the last verse- Living on command = doing what ever anybody says You're shaking lots of hands = making connections Kissing up and bleeding all your trust = sucking up to people by talking down others so it seems that you're on thier side Taking what you need = using people to get what you need from them then moving on Bite the hand that feeds = continuation of previous line You kill your memory = once the person is finished with thier business, they're never heard from again. but to add to the current mood of this song, nice guys do infact finish last in relationships, but the end result is soooo much sweeter! |

| Skindred – Nobody Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I'm agreeing with "mack" on this one. It's all about thier superiority among the rest of the game and how thier sound is different, which I definately agree with. This type of song is also required by every rapper as well, so its obvious that any band that combines the two will have to write about how much of a bad-ass they are. I was able to see these guys live before they made it big on the radio when they came on tour with Sevendust & Nonpoint. Absolutely SICK to see this guy scream and rhyme in the songs, and then he talks to the crowd with a think British accent. Twists your mind all around, but its worth it. | |
