This song is just one of the greatest one I ever heard. It's so sad, filled up with emotions, I never heard a song like this. It really sound dark, a little depressive too, but when your heart is broken, nothing is better than this. The guitar is great, the bass is perfect, each note seems so heavy, like a tears following each word of the song, so full of meaning. I only hate one thing about this song. At 43 sec. there's a fucked note who hurt my ears each time. I dunno if i'm the only one who noticed it. Oh, don't be too hard on my english, I know I have some french things in it but I can't help it. |

I'm not quite sure of it but I'm pretty sure i'ts metaphoric. Like when he's wondering ''is she's dead'', I think he just talk of a old love who's considered like a person through the girl, maybe an ex-girlfriend who have broke off. Anyway, great song but really dark. For me it's a proof of pure love, like, you're in pain but you still want to solve out things, even if it hurt you more after. Great song, lot of souvenir... (french word, I'm not quite sure if memento mean the same thing) |
