After a rough breakup I felt like Ben just understood. It's all about this relationship that once was but now it's as if it never even happened. I think that you can really hear the anguish in his voice in parts like "The things we've written in it Never really happened" and it's creepy to hear how sure he is of the words "We will not write a new one, there will no be another one" after breaking up with someone you still care about. This song will always give me chills when I hear it. |
