A movie about jail? Then I think I know what the movie was about, here's my idea: A soldier fought in a war, taking many innocent lives, when the war is over, he's realising how corrupt the government actually is and how many innocent people he killed. After that, he and his girlfriend/wife couldn't take it anymore and he was brought to jail and sentenced to death for treason to the government. "the car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides and a dark wind blows the government is corrupt and we're on so many drugs with the radio on and the curtains drawn" This part is probably about the aftermath of a war, the soldier has fought in. After the war, he probably realised how corrupt the government is, and he must've though about all those innocent people he killed..Until it's haunting him and his wife/girlfriend. "we're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine and the machine is bleeding to death" Probably about the government again like some other people mentioned. "the sun has fallen down and the billboards are all leering and the flags are all dead at the top of their poles" I think this is about the time he was in prison and how fast the time went. He's explaining about the view from his cell. "it went like this: the buildings tumbled in on themselves mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble and pulled out their hair the skyline was beautiful on fire all twisted metal stretching upwards everything washed in a thin orange haze" An explanation about the war he fought in. " said: "kiss me, you're beautiful - these are truly the last days" you grabbed my hand and we fell into it like a daydream or a fever we woke up one morning and fell a little further down - for sure it's the valley of death" His last moments with his girlfriend/wife before he was brought to death row. "i open up my wallet and it's full of blood" Money = Power. All those nuclear weapons the government bought with it killed all those people. It does make sense, right ? |

ahh, great old song :D, Maiden! I still can hear everyone chanting it. Funny how many people come here and try to insult maiden. Like littlehugs, first of all the people who throwed eggs were a bunch of posers coming to ozzfest to act cool and start a moshpit when a calm song is playing. I finally understand what this song is about... It's about the devil (the heavy voice) trying to drown his slave in love, the devil is trying to say that all hope is gone and he's tempting him to give up on love - Will you let me tear your heart apart? - Now all hope is gone, so drown in this love -your laughter is turning into tears -i'll violate you in the most sensual way: he's hurting her so she has to give up. |
