| well im not at all sure what this song means but possibly starshine can have symbolism to something? Another idea is that starshine is the opposite of sunshine, and sunshine usually infers happiness, and positive emotions. So perhaps starshine infers depression, or negative emotions. So im confused right here, the second part kinda refers to depression, since depression is expressed as being "low." Well my conclusion is that this song is 2D arguing with himself, thinking about being so depressed and not wanting to be depressed anymore, and then conflicting feelings (probably resulting from the depression itself) that he dosent want to be happy, because happiness seems so impossible to achieve when you are depressed. And it gets even more confusing if you think about "starshine" as mabey a material object or a person. I dont know the possibilities are endless. Perhaps this song was the result of a high of some sort. I dunno. | |

hmm i had to break out the dictionary on this one, i paraphrased it mabey to make it a little easier to understand The (elevated, celestial) destroys The boundaires of (being finite, having boundaries) (This cancels out, being sublime eliminatesthe boundaries of having boundaries) Yet this (occurence, circumstance) Is seen by the self (percieved by the thing that is sublime) not as an act of destruction but rather, as a kind of elevation (like a high) and liberation For it is the feeling of (infinetness, no boundaries) Which it now discovers Within itself that it may enjoy a new experience Within it's own boundlessness personally, i think this is about drugs. I think the "sumblime" is referring to some kind of high,because when you are high, you feel "boundless" like nothing can hold you down and everything is okay. So you are in a state of infiniteness, and in that state you may find things out about yourself that would have been hard to find when you were sober. |

| this song is defintley about censorship and how, jus because certain people think this is wrong, its wrong for everyone. like cuss words, they are completly pointless, they are just words used to express anger, pain. etc. what is so bad about expressing yourself with certain words? this is also about how, even though all this censorship exists, people are still going to find out, might as well find ot now and get smart for it, that way you are prepared for when u are thrown into a situation where u must use cuss words or something. | |

| ok i have consulted some ppls and i have put together wut i think this song means. the people talking are saying that drugs may cause birth defects. usually a birth defect is a bad thing but sometimes if you had a birth defect you could be born with increased brain capacity. and if u have increased brain capacity and reproduce you pass that trait on to future generations. if we could possibly control how these birth defects happen we can have a race of genises. so they r saying that in a way drugs could help future evolution. some people may use this as an excuse to do drugs they will think "o i am helping along future evolution by doing drugs." this is wut i think this song means and if u dont think so then JUST DEAL WT IT. | |

| i think this song is probably the personal reflection of one of the band members' pasts. i think its about how someone was left behing and maybe their parents left them and they were ridiculed for it. its also about how there is no love or caring left in the world. hint hint "a world so cold." also, since this happens to children they grow up and its jus screwing over another generation. | |
