This is a great song. As always, great lyrics. To me, Conor seems to be reacting to his growing success. "And Laura's asleep in my bed/As I'm leaving she wakes up and says/I dreamed you were carried away on the crest of a wave/Baby, don't go away, come here" This song came out shortly after the Rolling Stone article titled, "The Next Wave: Ten Artists To Watch" Maybe I'm reading too much into the lyrics but did anyone else read that article? I could be wrong (probably wrong) but thats some coincidence.
