When I first listened to the song while half paying attention to the lyrics, I thought that BN were upset with me for listening to the leaked album, blaming me for "stealing" and being a "thief" after the "fire had spread" haha..

this song seems to be about songwriting / recording... He's sick of the (kind of) emo sound he's making. The girl in the park could be one of those like the hundreds of them who go to a green day concert waiting only for "boulevard of broken dreams" without knowing anything they did before .. He doesn't want to write emo songs about crying, diying, being sooo disapointed by life anymore.. So let's go back to the rock (the simpler sound).. ironicaly this song is so emo hehe..

I think the 2 persons in this song are the same one. He's feeling the sort of schizophrenia that everyone who has ever been addicted to drugs may have felt. One part of him is tired of drugs and wants to stop, but the other part is still addicted and makes him drown more and more. |
