| I dunno. I always thought this song was more like a father giving a mssage to his son or something...Or just a boy expressing his feelings. This song, to me, always point ed more towards the difficulty, confusion, andoverwhelming acceptances required when a child becomes an adult. Like a sort of intense, yet required, passivity and acceptance. That's what this song always represented for me. Staring down the barrel isn't literally staring down a gun barrel for suicide, just rather having to face what you never wanted to but must..And learning to see the beauty in it. | |
