"Fallen now is Babylon the Great" refers to the end of the world. If I'm not mistaken I think that Babylon the Great in the old days was like a sin city... everything against God. Nowdays I think it's more like everyday life without God. And the Harlot was the first prostitute I'm pretty sure. Anyhow a7x, screaming or not ,are still very talented and I enjoy them very much. |

To me this is a song about a deeply depressed person. It seems that something very tragic or something that meant alot to this person was taken away (possibly a death). I also think that the song could possibly be about a person who has lost all faith in everything and is "content with doing nothing". But with the closing line "But in my life, I wanted more, I needed more ,I taste more." leads me to believe that there is maybe a little ray of hope somewhere along the way.

This song is about being in a relationship with someone that didnt work out and you still have feelings but they dont at all. throughout the song he is telling himself he is over it and will not let it bother him any longer and then at then end ,
"I'll do anything for you", lets you know he is not over it. im feeling that now and it sucks. just wish i had a way to get it off my chest like from autumn to ashes.......
