I asked my friend who had a guitar to play any third eye blind songs.He played this, and i had never heard it before. Ill always rember hearing it.It gave me goosebumps listneing to the tune and the lyrics. I remember hearing 'ive never been so alone and ive never been so alive' and thinkin how sad yet amazin that lyric was. I downloaded the song and spent the next few days listening to it constantly. Since then ive bought all the albums, and theyve become one of my favourte bands.To me this song kinda sums up everthing about being in or out of a relationship. The lyrics are so thought provoking and touching yet random. I cant really say i like one certain lyric in the song i like becasue i love them all, bt different ones get me at different times. This song is fukin amazing, and i dont belive i will ever stop getting shivers when i hear it. |

*sigh* this song is so amazing! its definatly one of the best on the album, if not the best. This band fukin rocks, they seem to sound like no other band ive heard. All their lyrics are thoughtful and provoking, yet random...gawd i love them.
Neway back to the song...i relate it to a situation a got myself caught up in and i needed to wake up and realise what was happenin, and get out. My favourite parts in the song are 'i try to keep awake', 'and theres a bone in my hand that connects to a drink', and 'howd you lie to be alone and drowning'. This songs so good!!! |

this songs probably my fave dc song, it had to grow on me tho. the lyrics are so nice, and i relate to them badly, rembering an ex. for some reason this song reminds me of summer nights.. or mayb its just the person. |
